Celebration Station: Halloween Craft Ideas For Kids

Calling all giggling ghosts and groovy goblins: looking for easy halloween craft ideas for kids?  Make your Halloween table decorations boo-tiful with this upcycled paper towel utensil holder and spook-tastic ghost napkin. It’s an inexpensive and unique craft project, that’s easy to create and is a fun, seasonal place setting for your little boos.

Halloween Decorations

Directions:  upcycled paper towel utensil holder

  • Cut a paper towel or toilet paper roll into 2 inch pieces
  • Cover the cut pieces with decorative, polka-dot Washi tape. I used black and orange. (Washi tape can be found at your local craft store)
  • Cover the utensil handles with orange polka-dot Washi tape

Directions:  spook-tastic ghost napkin

  • Open your white napkin so it comes to a point
  • In the point of the napkin place a cotton ball. This cotton ball will become the ghost’s head
  • At the base of the cotton ball, twist the napkin gently, and secure with a white baggie tie. This becomes the ghost’s neck and also forms its body
  • With a glue gun, carefully adhere the jiggly eyes to the ghost’s face
  • Use a black marker to draw a mouth
  • Black and orange plates complete this humorously-haunting place setting
